Career Highlights

Managed a team of consultants to review the underlying causes of contractor incidents on the NZ electricity network - Identified the underlying human factors and recommended an investigation process to continuously improve the contractor practices. Implementation of the recommendations is currently underway.

As part of a major electricity market redesign project in Western Australia - Kieran worked with market participants to understand the operational consequences of the changes. Worked with both the Market Operator and the participants to reduce the operational impacts.
Conducted a major review of outage planning processes at a NZ utilities company - Lead a team that implemented a large scale process change, increasing communication between key stakeholders and reducing the likelihood of short notice changes to the plan.
